Investigation and discussion of smoke proof for civil buildings

Investigates the use of natural smoke control and mechanical smoke control in residential buildings and public buildings, by means of questionnaire survey. The results show that in the places where the mechanical smoke control systems are installed, only 42.9% are complied with the fire fighting requirements in appearance. This ratio is even less than 50% the maximum possible reliability of a natural smoke control method. For the application of the two ways, proposes some solutions.
